Love is in the air. If we've learned anything from the past couple of months, it's that love conquers all. For insights on all things wedding-related, we're looking to our friends at Wedding Chicks — a wedding inspiration destination — to see how couples are adapting and working together to create their perfect wedding during this time.

From Digital...

Though the pandemic has been quite the challenge for some, others have used this as an opportunity to think outside the box. Taking advantage of the digital sphere and today's technology, couples have overcame obstacles with unique approaches.

Designing A Wedding Website

A simple start to any wedding planning adventure. Though this is nothing new to the wedding industry, designing a wedding website has helped couples showcase their story, feature engagement photos, update ceremony information, and include other small details. Not to mention, Wedding Chicks offers free website templates and resources to help couples get started.

Utilizing Video Conferencing Platforms

Caps on attendance and closures of venues due to coronavirus have really been a challenge. Yet, the power of today's technology has made things a little easier. Take the surprise wedding of De-Shazo and Jacarra, for example. For their ceremony, they kept the count to a minimum for the safety of others and adorned chairs with smiling photos of friends and family. By utilizing a video conferencing platform, they were able to have their ministers, who were out of the country, officiate the ceremony. (Win, win!) Read more about De-Shazo and Jacarra's story in Wedding Chick's sweet feature, A Groom Plans A Surprise Wedding For His Bride.

... To The Details

More time on your hands means more time to spend on the little details. From communications to wedding dresses to accessories, couples have adapted to the circumstances with the utmost care and thoughtfulness.

Sending A Save The Date Card

Postponing a wedding can be a stressful process. The vendors, the venue, you name it. To ensure the messaging gets communicated, some couples have opted for a physical Save The Date or Postponement card to help keep their guests informed amidst the chaos. Others have opted for a more cost-efficient approach, like posting the news on their wedding blog or sending out a PDF via email.

Picking A Wedding Dress

As if picking out a wedding dress wasn't stressful enough. Thankfully, Wedding Chicks reached out to Patrice Johnson, the owner/designer of Patrice J. Bridal, for insights on her new processes. For more information, read Wedding Chick's featured article, 4 Tips For Dress Shopping During COVID-19.

Fine Tuning the Accessories

Last but not least, let's not forget about the details. Following the CDC's recommendation about face coverings, couples have sought out extra precautionary accessories, such as face masks. For those looking to add a little flair to their couples face masks, check out our selection of Wedding Face Masks.

No matter what obstacles life throws at your wedding, take time to celebrate and reaffirm your love for your partner. Congrats to the newlyweds!
